EXPOS3D – The Future of Art Has Arrived

An exhibition offering a preview of art's technological future, offering a bold vision of where creativity and innovation intersect.

This entry is part 13 of 13 in the series Showcasing Scotland's Digital Leaders

EXPOS3D, a ground-breaking beta exhibition presented by Trevor Jones Art, transforms the historic Customs House in Leith, Edinburgh, into an immersive “living system” of art from October 12 to 18, 2025.

This one-week-only event blends physical, digital, and interactive elements, using augmented reality and AI-driven experiences to explore humanity’s evolving relationship with technology.

Centered around LOGOS, an all-seeing AI entity, the exhibition invites visitors to navigate a provocative narrative that questions the dominance of algorithms and surveillance in modern life.

In Surveillance We Trust

Thematically, EXPOS3D delves into surveillance, faith, and rebellion. It examines the rise of watchful technologies that predict and control lives, the shift from traditional beliefs to digital dependence, and humanity’s persistent drive to resist and reclaim freedom.

The exhibition poses bold questions about whether machines are replacing gods, how faith and liberty are eroding, and where resistance persists. Billed as a “radical response” to our tech-driven world, it positions visitors as active participants in a digital revolution, entering feeling “watched” and leaving “aware.”

Visitors will encounter giant animated paintings that come alive through real-time AI video generation, alongside SACARAMEMES—seven AI-powered paintings that observe and respond to their presence. The Eyes of LOGOS, a striking feature, recognize faces, track movements, and may even call out visitors’ names, creating an eerie yet captivating experience.

Through the EXPOS3D app, attendees can collect points, unlock exclusive digital and physical rewards, and shape their own interactive journey, with hidden elements and AR integrations enhancing the experience.
